Sri Lanka has thronged temples and sacred relics; therefore, Sri Lankans practise a variety of religions, whilst with about 70% population who faith in Theravada Buddist.
Sri Lanka was formerly known as 'Ceylon' by British before the name 'Sri Lanka' was being introduced in 1972. With the population of 22 million, just a little chaotic, overcrowded buses aren't new to Sri Lankan, with thousand passengers hopping on and off per bus per day.
The experience I had on my first trip in Sri Lanka was incredibly unforgettable. During my 7-day spent in this island, Sri Lanka is perhaps a place that reveals its richness culture, verdant landscape, lush forests, white beaches, tea plantation and its beauty of nature. Yet, the fragrance of cardamon and curry leaves are always greeted us.

Dress code is applied- long trousers, or decent clothing to cover up. Therefore, respectful attire is necessary to enter the temple.
