Bangkok [曼谷]

Greeting from Malaysia.

Just came back from a spontaneous trip to Bangkok with family and friends, and was able to return visit this city after a few years. The most obvious change that i've observed was the currency rate is relatively high that you'll end up paying a lot more for shopping and food compare to few years back; but I'd say, having a bunch of nice travel buddies were undeniably fun and worthy!

How do I describe Bangkok...?
Night markets have been popping out almost every corner of the city, with the greatest concentration of street foods, clothes, and vintage fashion where everyone busy bargaining for better deal. Massage is a deluxe pampering you can invest in during your shopping break. Bright colour of tuk tuk offers you sightseeing and able to handle traffic jam during peak hours. Weather is HOT! Lastly, the famous nightlife scenes especially reddest red light district gives you a new horizon!

Other than Bangkok city, Hua Hin and Ayutthaya are the nice places to visit.

Accommodation

Lemontea hotel

You don't need to spend so much on accommodation as Bangkok is packed with a lot of affordable hotels yet are located in unbeatable destination. Few minutes walking distance to The Platinum Fashion Mall and night market. You can easily get a tuk tuk to a few attractions such as Erawan shrine, Siam Square, Siam Paragon and Central World within half and hour.

(Tips: Tuk tuk used to be cheap,  don't pay more than 200 baht unless you're going quite a distance. Show your bargain skill)
